Mail-In Key Coding & Transponder Programming
Transponder key programming, EEPROM key coding, proximity fob programming, and all-keys-lost situations — handled by automotive electronics specialists. All vehicle makes. 6-month warranty.
What We Program
- ✓ Transponder chip key programming (all frequencies)
- ✓ EEPROM key coding — add or restore key data at the module level
- ✓ Smart key & proximity fob programming
- ✓ All-keys-lost situations (EEPROM reading required)
- ✓ Adding a spare key when one remains
- ✓ Key programming after BCM or immobilizer replacement
- ✓ Remote start module key registration
Specialized. Not Just Experienced.
Key coding and transponder work requires specialized equipment and in-depth knowledge of vehicle security systems. We focus exclusively on this type of automotive electronics work — many competitors offering “key programming” lack this specialized background entirely.
- Transponder / EEPROM diagnosis
- Key data programming
- Immobilizer–key sync
- 6-month warranty
- Free return shipping (Ground)

How It Works
Contact Us First
Key coding varies by vehicle. Tell us your year, make, model, and situation — we’ll confirm what to ship and what to expect.
Ship the Module & Key
Ship the immobilizer or ECU module along with your key(s). We handle the EEPROM reading and transponder programming.
Keys Coded & Returned
Module and key returned programmed and synced. Free return shipping. 6-month warranty on all work.
What Our Customers Say
“Lost both keys for my Tacoma. The dealer wanted $650 and a week’s wait. ShipYourECU read the EEPROM, programmed two new keys, and had everything back in four days. License and expertise are the real deal.”
“Needed a spare key programmed for my F-250. Local shops around here couldn’t do it. Charles had it done through the mail in 48 hours. Couldn’t be easier.”
“Smart key stopped working after I replaced the BCM. Had to get it re-registered. These guys handled the whole thing by mail. Saved me the dealership trip entirely.”
Key Coding FAQ
What’s the difference between key cutting and key coding?
Key cutting shapes the physical blade of the key — any key shop can do that. Key coding (also called transponder programming) is the electronic process of writing a unique crypto code into the key’s chip so the vehicle’s immobilizer will recognize it. Without this step, a correctly cut key will turn the ignition but the engine won’t start. We handle the programming side — the electronic half that requires specialized equipment and knowledge.
Can you program keys if I’ve lost all of them?
Often yes. In all-keys-lost situations, we use EEPROM reading to extract existing key data directly from the immobilizer module, then use that data to program new transponder keys. Availability depends on your specific vehicle make and immobilizer generation. Contact us with your year, make, and model before shipping anything — we’ll tell you upfront what’s possible.
Do I need to ship my car’s ECU or just the key?
For most key coding jobs you’ll ship the immobilizer module (sometimes called the PATS module, EIS, or EWS depending on make) along with the key(s). Some vehicles require the ECU as well to complete the sync. We’ll tell you exactly what to ship after you contact us with your vehicle details.
How long does key coding take?
Most key coding jobs are completed in 48–72 business hours from receipt. All-keys-lost situations may take slightly longer depending on the EEPROM complexity. We’ll confirm the timeline when you contact us.
What if the programming doesn’t work after I install it?
Our 6-month warranty covers every programming job. If the key isn’t recognized after installation, contact us — we’ll diagnose and fix it at no charge.
What vehicles can you do key coding for?
All major makes — Ford (PATS), GM, Dodge/Chrysler, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia, BMW (EWS/CAS), Mercedes-Benz (EIS), Audi/VW, and more. Contact us with your vehicle details and we’ll confirm compatibility.
